According to Cadena COPE, Manchester United has made Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti an offer.
The present deal that Ancelotti has with the La Liga team ends at the end of the current campaign.
An offer has already been made to the Italian to take over as the national team’s coach in Brazil.
At the end of the season, Erik ten Hag might be replaced by the 64-year-old, albeit United has also expressed interest in him.
Ancelotti, who has previously held Premier League managerial positions with Chelsea and Everton, has already expressed his desire to stay on at Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag faced criticism following United’s lackluster season-opening performance. With five wins in their previous six Premier League games, however, the Red Devils are only six points behind leaders Arsenal.
