According to new coach John Hynes, the Minnesota Wild were unable to solve the Vancouver Canucks’ different style of play, resulting in their failure to extend their winning streak to five games. Despite dominating possession and outshooting the Canucks in the first period, the Wild were unable to capitalize and fell behind on a goal from Nils Hoglander.
The Canucks added an insurance goal in the third period to secure the win and snap the Wild’s winning streak. Despite the loss, the Wild remain optimistic and look to bounce back in their upcoming game against the Edmonton Oilers.
