The World Open, a world ranking snooker event, will be held in Yushan, China’s Jiangxi Province in March 2024. The tournament will take place from March 18 to 24 and will be the fourth WST event held in China during the 2023/24 season. Some of the biggest names in snooker will compete in the tournament. Several matches, including Judd Trump v Rory Thor and Ding Junhui v Zak Surety, will be held in Yushan, while the rest of the first-round matches will be played at the qualifiers in Barnsley. Yushan has previously hosted the tournament from 2016 to 2019, and Trump is the most recent winner of the title. The tournament’s organizers are excited about the future of snooker in China and look forward to the chance to return to Yushan in 2024.
