At the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day, Scott and Andrea Swift, the parents of Taylor Swift, were seen socializing with Ed Kelce, the father of Travis Kelce. Despite the Kansas City team’s unfortunate loss, a photo posted by a Chiefs fan showed the quartet conversing in the NFL star’s suite before the game. In the picture, Ed, sporting a Kelce jersey, stood with his back to the camera, while Scott and Andrea were fully engaged in the discussion. Taylor was seen sipping a drink while listening to the Kelce patriarch. Both she and her mother wore festive Santa hats, while Scott donned a black and red puffer coat to represent the home team’s colors.
Swift attended the game with her parents and brother Austin to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Austin made a noteworthy appearance on the jumbotron in a full Santa Claus outfit. Although Donna Kelce, Travis’s mother, couldn’t attend the game, she was supporting her son Jason Kelce, who plays for the Eagles and also had a game on Christmas Day.
It seemed to be the first time the parents of the couple had met. However, Swift has spent a lot of time with the Kelces since she began dating Travis over the summer. She has joined both Ed and Donna in the stands on numerous occasions, leaving a positive impression on the pair.
According to Ed Kelce, he was impressed by Taylor’s charm and down-to-earth nature when he first met her at a Kansas City Chiefs game in October. He described her as “a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman” and praised her for not acting like a “diva,” even helping to clean up after the game.
Although it’s unclear when Kelce first met Taylor’s mother, he met Scott in November when he flew down to Argentina on his bye week for an Eras Tour stop. The two men met at dinner and then watched the concert together the following night. Scott was seen filming Kelce and proudly wearing a Chiefs lanyard, indicating his support for the couple.
