According to reports, Michael Beale, who previously served as Aston Villa’s assistant manager, is interested in bringing Lamare Bogarde to Sunderland. The 19-year-old’s loan spell at Bristol Rovers has been cut short due to his struggle to secure regular playing time under new manager Matt Taylor. Bogarde had initially joined Rovers in January and extended his stay with the League One team in the summer. Villa is considering his next loan move and aims to provide the talented midfielder with the “most exposure,” as per The Athletic. Sunderland and Aberdeen have reportedly shown “strong interest” in Bogarde.
