Shaun Murphy, ranked sixth in the world, defeated Zhang Anda 6-2 in his 20th appearance at the MrQ Masters in London, setting up a quarter-final match against Jack Lisowski. Murphy won the Triple Crown in 2015, having already won the World Championship in 2005 and the UK Championship in 2008. Zhang, making his Masters debut, won his first ranking title at the International Championship earlier this season to earn a spot in the top 16. Murphy’s victory was sealed by breaks of 71 and 89, and he admitted that stealing the fourth frame was a key moment. He expects a tough match against Lisowski, who has beaten him in their last three meetings.
