The Seahawks are currently searching for a new leader following Pete Carroll’s unexpected departure, and early reports suggest that Dan Quinn, the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, is a significant candidate. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Seattle’s interest in Quinn, which is not surprising given his recent success against NFL offenses and the development of multiple defensive players. The Seahawks are one of several teams, including the Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Commanders, and Las Vegas Raiders, in the hunt for a new head coach this offseason. Quinn’s coaching journey has been remarkable, with almost two decades of experience in the NFL, including a successful period as the Seahawks’ defensive coordinator, where he led the team to a Super Bowl victory. He also achieved notable success as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons and is currently the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, where he has transformed the team’s defense. With several head coaching vacancies across the league, it appears that Quinn will once again be a sought-after candidate in the offseason.
