It appears that Unai Emery, the former manager of Arsenal, no longer wishes to have Calum Chambers on the Aston Villa team. Chambers, a former Arsenal defender, has struggled to secure a spot on the Gunners’ first team under Mikel Arteta, and now Emery wants him gone from Villa. Despite having experience in both centre-back and right-back positions, Emery has made it clear that he has no plans for Chambers and has publicly stated that he is free to leave Villa during the January transfer window. Although he has not made an appearance in the Premier League for Villa this season, other clubs in the English top flight, such as West Ham United, may be interested in signing him. With 176 Premier League appearances under his belt, Chambers could be a valuable addition to clubs facing the threat of relegation to the Championship.
