In a 31-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers at Highmark Stadium, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills triumphed over Mother Nature and their opponents in the playoffs. Although little was expected of the Steelers in 2023, head coach Mike Tomlin led the team to a competitive season with 10 wins, marking their third playoff appearance in four years. However, Tomlin’s future with the team remains uncertain, as he left a post-game press conference without answering a question about his contract. Despite this, two of the Steelers’ leaders, T.J. Watt and Cameron Heyward, publicly expressed their support for Tomlin and their refusal to play for any other coach. Tomlin has reportedly told his players that he plans to coach the team in 2024, the final year of his current contract extension. With a career coaching record of 173-100-2 and two AFC championships, Tomlin could potentially remain the Steelers’ head coach for 20 years or more.
