The club is said to be interested in signing the 21-year-old midfielder during the January transfer window, and could potentially sell Joelinton in 2024. Hackney started for Boro, playing in a two-man attacking midfield in a 3-4-2-1 formation. Middlesbrough manager Michael Carrick has praised the England Under-21 international, who has also been linked to Tottenham Hotspur. In my opinion, Hackney would be a valuable addition to Newcastle’s team.
