There have been recent rumors linking the Paraguay international, Almiron, with a move to Saudi Arabia, potentially making him the next Premier League player to leave for the Middle East. Newcastle, in a tight financial situation, may have to make the difficult decision to offload Almiron in the coming days. According to the Athletic, the club is more willing to sell the 29-year-old winger than the likes of Wilson and Trippier, viewing him as a sellable asset. Although Almiron has been praised by some, Newcastle may have to sacrifice him in order to strengthen the squad and make new signings this January. While it would be a tough loss for fans, many would understand if a good offer came in and allowed for top signings to be made.
