Ipswich are hot on the heels of league leaders Leicester City as both teams strive for promotion to the Premier League. Ipswich has not appeared in the top flight for 22 years, but thanks to manager Kieran Mckenna, they have their best chance since their 2002 relegation. Although the team recently went on a five-game winless streak, they managed to secure a point against Leicester City on Monday night, with January signing Jeremy Sarmiento scoring the equaliser. Ipswich remains in second place, but Southampton and Leeds are close behind. With striker George Hirst out injured and other attackers leaving, Ipswich is in need of reinforcements. They have been linked to three players in the January transfer window, including Austrian forward, David Entrup, AFC Wimbledon’s Ali Al-Hamadi, and Burnley’s Manuel Benson.
