According to TeamTALK, Blackburn is reportedly interested in Leeds captain Liam Cooper, who has been with the club for ten seasons but is due to become a free agent at the end of the season. Despite experiencing several defensive departures this month, Leeds manager Daniel Farke is adamant about not letting Cooper go in this window. Blackburn is offering a loan deal with the possibility of a permanent signing in the summer, but Farke has reiterated his position on not letting any more players leave in January. Cooper himself wants to stay at Elland Road and compete for his place as the club pushes for Premier League promotion.
