The development of Bryce Young as a quarterback is crucial for the 2024 Panthers season, and they’ve made a significant hire to aid in that process. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Will Harriger has been named the team’s quarterbacks coach. This won’t be Harriger’s first time working with Young or Panthers head coach Dave Canales, as he previously worked with both of them.
Harriger most recently served as an offensive assistant for the Cowboys, but he previously worked with Canales on the Seahawks staff. He also has experience with the Falcons and Jaguars. In addition to his NFL experience, Harriger has worked with QB Collective to develop high school quarterbacks. Young previously worked with this group before joining Alabama and ultimately the Panthers.
