The NFL offseason is underway after Super Bowl 58, and with the Chiefs winning their second Lombardi trophy in two years, the draft order is set from picks 1-32. As teams evaluate which prospects would be the best fit for their franchise, mock draft season has officially begun for those not in league offices. PFF writer Trevor Sikkema released his Post-Super Bowl Mock Draft, which includes two rounds with hypothetical trades. Sikkema’s draft simulation features wild predictions, such as the Denver Broncos trading up to select Drake Maye with the second pick and the Washington Commanders trading up to select Michigan’s JJ McCarthy at pick 10. In the second round, PFF has the Buffalo Bills selecting Utah EDGE Jonah Elliss, who had an impressive 2023 campaign with 12.0 sacks and 16.0 tackles for a loss in 10 games. With several edge defenders set to become free agents, Elliss would be a great fit in Buffalo and have an opportunity to learn from one of the NFL’s best fast-twitch edge rushers, Von Miller.
