The Raptors had a disappointing night, losing 136-125 to the Dallas Mavericks. Despite Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving playing exceptionally well, Toronto shouldn’t feel ashamed of their performance. Following the game, Rajakovic praised Doncic’s skills, stating that he has everything he needs to excel in basketball except for a few inches in height and added strength. Doncic plays at his own pace and is skilled at reading angles and timing, using shot fakes to make the right decisions.
It is definitely more comfortable now. We were able to have some practices during the break which helped a lot, especially since we have added a lot of new pieces to the team. Even since I joined, the team has changed a lot, so I am still getting used to playing with everyone. Personally, I am feeling more comfortable now.
There are some standout players on the team. One player is running around everywhere and making plays, shots, and setting up others. Another player is doing everything out there. Another player is really good with a floater, dunking, getting assists, and blocks. And one player is a crazy sniper – any time we pass the ball to him, I know it’s going in. As for myself, I just try to do what I can to help the team. When we play together, we all complement each other well.
