McCarthy, Bo Nix, and Caleb Williams. Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was also on their radar. Director of scouting Eliot Wolf revealed that the Patriots are searching for toughness as a primary trait in players. While mock drafts had predicted Maye or Daniels as their top pick, NFL Media’s Daniel Jeremiah suggested Harrison as a potential choice. However, the Patriots seem to be doing their homework on all quarterback prospects, even if it means trading up for No. 1.
