The incident involved former coaches of Newton’s and other individuals, and videos of the altercation began circulating on social media on Feb. 25. Newton and everyone involved chose not to press charges, and the Atlanta Police Department confirmed that no one was injured. Despite this, Newton believes he should have held himself to a higher standard.
