In a decisive match, the Grizzlies prevailed over the Nets with a final score of 106-102, avenging their 25-point loss to the same team just a week ago. Head coach Taylor Jenkins also celebrated a milestone 200th career regular season win with this victory. Despite fielding a team with several players who have spent time in the G-League this season, Memphis managed to secure the win, even with Jaren Jackson Jr. missing his third consecutive game due to injury. The game was marked by back-and-forth leads between the two teams, with the Grizzlies ultimately edging out the Nets with a one-point lead at halftime. Although the Grizzlies had 19 turnovers leading to 25 points for the Nets, they were able to make up for it with more field goal attempts. This was a welcome change for the team, who has often had fewer attempts than their opponents in recent games. In the first half, Jake LaRavia stood out with 10 of his 14 points, but it was Luke Kennard who dominated in the second half, scoring all four of the Grizzlies’ three-pointers. He ended the game with an impressive 25 points, two rebounds, and seven assists, shooting six out of nine from beyond the arc. Other notable performances came from Santi Aldama with 12 points, Vince Williams Jr. with 11 points and six assists, and Trey Jemison with 10 points, seven rebounds, and one block before fouling out in the fourth quarter. From the bench, Jake LaRavia also added 10 rebounds, three assists, and two steals to his 14 points.
