Xavier Legette envisions himself playing with the Buffalo Bills the following season and receiving passes from quarterback Josh Allen following a breakthrough college year.
At the NFL Combine, the wide receiver from South Carolina said that he had a meeting with the Bills and shared his thoughts on what he thinks he may provide to the squad in the upcoming season.
According to reporter Josh Reed on X, Legette stated, “He’s a great quarterback and I feel like I could help that team if I’m blessed to be able to do that.”
Experts predict that the Bills may use a high draft pick on a wide receiver, as current receiver Gabe Davis is likely leaving in free agency. One potential candidate is Xavier Legette, who had a standout season in 2023 and impressed the Bills during an interview, expressing his desire to join the team. Legette emphasized his strong work ethic and consistent performance if given the opportunity. Additionally, the Bills are considering other top receiver prospects like Keon Coleman, who believes he could complement quarterback Josh Allen’s strong arm and learn from playing alongside Stefon Diggs.
