Dan Morgan’s efforts to secure a new player for the team have possibly paid off on Wednesday. The Carolina Panthers have reportedly reached an agreement with cornerback Dane Jackson from the Buffalo Bills, as confirmed by various sources, including NFL Network. Twenty-seven-year-old Jackson was a seventh-round pick by the Bills in 2020 and has started 28 games over four seasons. His standout season was in 2022, starting 14 games and securing two interceptions. In 2023, Jackson earned a career-best 71.6 coverage grade from Pro Football Focus.
