The Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres are excited to announce the return of Give 716 for its fourth year, a fundraising initiative to support charities in Western New York. Event organizers Michelle Roberts and Rich Jureller are looking forward to working with local organizations and counting on the support of Bills and Sabres fans to make a difference in the community. Give 716 will kick off at 7:16 p.m. on July 15 and continue until 11:59 p.m. on July 16. Local charities interested in participating can register on Give716.org.
How to Participate in Give 716
Give 716 is open to any qualified 501c3 organisation that is located in or offering services in one of the eight Western New York counties (Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming counties) that is in good standing with the IRS. There is no registration fee. Following a successful event, registered charity will collect their donations through their own Admin Dashboard, where they can monitor their progress throughout Give 716, use Campaign Resources like toolkits and social media visuals, and track their accomplishments. Charities are welcome to register at Give716.org right now.
The approximately $1.1 million that was gathered last year thanks to the kind donations of participating people and organisations went to support over 500 charity. Give 716 has generated more than $3.3 million for charity in Western New York over the last three years.
