Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills is seen as an inspiration around most of the NFL. This is because, just over a year ago, Hamlin collapsed on the field in the middle of a game and nearly died. However, with this type of event, there are conspiracy theorists who have made something of this.
Now, former Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown appears to be one of those people. Earlier this morning, Brown posted a tweet giving credibility to one notable conspiracy theory about Hamlin. Now, Hamlin has a response to this.
Hamlin reacted to Antonio Brown’s latest tweet with a tweet of his own. What Hamlin had to say was as follows:
You didn’t even DM me on Monday? I assume you’re teasing me on Twitter about my circumstances because I haven’t DM’d you back. God, please save me from ever becoming as burned out and jaded as you are. I used to think highly of you, frfr, almost unbearably sad. Bring back the original AB, talk about a clone!
-Hamar Hamlin
He followed up with another post in response. This is the reply that I received:
It’s true that the initial NFL conspiracy hypothesis behind this is unsettling. A small number of people thought Hamlin passed away when he slumped on the pitch. Some, however, attribute it to the COVID vaccine and think that Damar Hamlin as he is today is a body double. It makes sense that Brown’s social media page’s implied remarks would offend and hurt Hamlin.
