When word leaked out that standout left lineman Dion Dawkins was planning to leave Buffalo, the Bills mafia suffered a setback.
After suggesting a farewell to Buffalo Post shortly before inking a three-year extension that will make him one of the most paid tackles in the NFL, Dawkins made what turned out to be a foolish joking comment.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to the Bills on social media.
“You guys are crazy, why would I ever leave Buffalo? I’m here to stay, Buffalo for life.”
