Linebacker Tae Davis, who joined the Panthers during the second half of last season, has reached an agreement with the team on a new contract for the upcoming 2024 season. While the terms of the contract were not officially disclosed by the team, reports indicate that it is a one-year deal. Davis started last season with the Falcons but was released in November after appearing in eight games. He then signed with the Panthers where he played in eight more games primarily on special teams, making seven tackles. With his experience playing for multiple teams and his knack for covering kicks, Davis is expected to play a key role this season, especially with the league’s adjustments to kickoffs.
