Donte Whitner, a former NFL player, thinks the one person the Bills will miss the most this season is Stefon Diggs.
In a video that the “Up & Adams” Podcast released on Monday, Whitner informed presenter Kay Adams that Diggs’ departure would be noticed right away.
Whitner remarked of Diggs, “They are going to miss him a lot.”
Whitner was answering a query from Adams regarding which free agent departure would have the biggest impact on the Bills this season.
Whitner stated that Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Bills, knew he could count on wide receiver Diggs to make a play when the ball was delivered to him.
Whitner continued, “The Pro Bowl wide receiver was also a threat to finish with over 100 yards in every game.”
Whitner did state that the outstanding wide receiver supposedly caused turmoil in the locker room, something the Buffalo players would not miss.
Whitner pointed out that Allen’s decision-making and ability to stay healthy will be key factors in the Bills’ 2024 success if Diggs is sidelined.
Fans of Buffalo were startled to learn that Diggs had been traded to the Houston Texans last week.
Houston sent the Bills a second-round draft pick in 2025 in exchange for Diggs.
Diggs led the Bills’ offence with 107 receptions for 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns in the previous campaign.
Gabe Davis, a free agency wide receiver, signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars over the offseason, meaning Buffalo also lost him.
