The Carolina Panthers have a new head coach, Dave Canales, and are looking to change the direction of the team for the 2024 offseason following rookie quarterback Bryce Young’s challenging debut season. Canales, at 42, is one of the younger coaches in the league and has already made an impact with his energetic approach, as seen in a recent interaction with new player Diontae Johnson. Despite initial confusion, Johnson is excited to play under Canales. Fans may have different opinions on Canales’ style, but connecting with the players seems to be a positive sign for the Panthers. In Young’s first year, although not outstanding, he showed promise with nearly 60% completion rate, 2,877 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. It’s a decent start for a rookie, but there is room for improvement.
