Prior to the minicamp phase of the offseason, Harrison Mevis, or the “Thiccer Kicker,” inked a multi-year contract with the Panthers, as reported by The Athletic.
According to a league source, the Panthers have signed undrafted Missouri K Harrison “the Thicker Kicker” Mevis to a multi-year contract.
Last year, the 6-foot, 241-pound player hit a 61-yard field goal that broke the SEC record.

It set a record for the Southeastern Conference.
But Carolina doesn’t really need a kicker. Eddy Pineiro, who has been reliable for the Panthers over the past two seasons, is already on the team.
Perhaps all Carolina wanted during the off-season was to kick each other. In any case, the Panthers signed one of the undrafted free-agent pool’s thickest kickers.
