The Bills are adding former University at Buffalo football great LB Joe Andreessen as rookie minicamp continues this weekend. He was one of 26 players that tried out for minicamp and was later added to the active roster.
Andreessen, a 232-pound, 6-foot-1 local product, will have the opportunity to begin his professional career in his hometown of Depew, New York.
During his graduate season, Andreessen was a player for the University at Buffalo. Starting all twelve games, he finished 2023 with ninety tackles, twelve tackles for loss, one sack, two passes defensed, and one forced fumble.
The LB played five seasons at Bryant University before coming to UB. At Bryant, Andreessen set a school record with 116 runs scored, earning him All-America honours.
