Every time the Buffalo Bills play the Miami Dolphins, they are aware that they are up against a formidable opponent. With an offence that is faster than any other side in the league, the defence in particular will need to contain them. Sean McDermott, head coach, is obviously aware that this will be a test.
“Those two receivers are exceptional players with a unique skill set. They are lightning-fast receivers who will go on to become Hall of Famers. Regarding Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, McDermott remarked, “I mean, that’s tough to go against.”
But Hill and Waddle are not the only ones with talent and speed.
In my opinion, Mike McDaniels does an outstanding job not just as head coach but also as an offensive play caller and play designer. I believe that [Tagovailoa] is leading their entire offence. They really are quite fast, so to speak. Not only is it different from everything I’ve seen this year, but also from previous years. They are therefore incredibly quick and talented. You watched the game the other day, after all. They’re gone if you don’t get close to them, right? They retreat even as you approach them.” McDermott carried on.
Hill and Waddle possess lightning in a bottle, and their extremely complex strategy tests the physical prowess, mental toughness, and discipline of every defence they encounter.
“I believe the plan we’re implementing, formation awareness, personnel awareness, and their understanding of where their guys are, who they want to pass the ball to, how they’re lined up, and how they’re actually trying to pass the ball, is quite impressive. I believe we can cover that as long as we enter the game knowing that part of it. Rather than making big plays, we can get everyone to the ball and force them to drive the entire length of the field,” Bernard remarked.
Miami depends heavily on big plays, and their weapons’ acceleration makes it possible for them to convert even the most straightforward plays into game-winning touchdowns. Buffalo must play disciplined defence and keep everything in front of them to slow them down. It will be a huge test for a defense that is dealing with injuries and new faces at key positions.
