Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, has been cleared to practise this week and is expected to participate in the team’s Week 2 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, head coach Sean McDermott told reporters on Monday afternoon.
The wonderful news about Allen’s availability was initially broken by ESPN Bills beat writer Alaina Getzenberg.
The fact that QB17 will proceed as usual in advance of Buffalo’s away game in Miami to kick off Thursday Night Football on Prime allows Bills Mafia to exhale, if one was needed. After the Bills defeated the visiting Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, there was some doubt about Allen’s hand.
In Buffalo’s home opener, halfway through the fourth quarter, Allen scrambled to paydirt from eight yards out. He went airborne and landed awkwardly on his left hand/wrist.
Without delay, Allen was seen wrapping the injured region extensively, while backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky started to warm up. Throughout the 2024 NFL season, Allen did not miss a snap. He led the offence on the next play and eventually earned a well-earned kneel-down to start the season 1-0.
