Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver had a notable performance against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7, nearly ending with a remarkable touchdown. Coleman recorded four receptions, totaling 125 yards, marking his first 100-yard game in the 34-10 victory.
While much attention was on the newly signed Amari Cooper, it was Coleman who stood out.
“He’s a guy that wants the ball,” quarterback Josh Allen stated during a video conference. “When he’s one-on-one on the back side, he wants it thrown to him, and he keeps making plays for us. It’s tough not to throw it to him.”
Coleman’s 125 yards contributed to Allen’s strong game, as the quarterback threw for a total of 323 yards.
Coleman attributed his success to his preparation and praised offensive coordinator Joe Brady. “Pretty much everything Joe was calling worked,” Coleman noted. “The different looks we practiced showed up in the game, and we executed at a high level.”
Cooper’s addition appears to be beneficial for the Bills, and the positive effects could continue to unfold.
