Connor Bedard had gone three consecutive games without scoring a point before Sunday night’s game in Anaheim. However, he quickly turned things around by recording three assists in the Blackhawks’ 4-2 victory, concluding a successful 3-2-0 road trip.
With these three assists, Bedard made history once again:
– He achieved his second career three-assist game, tying him with Eddie Olczyk, Stan Mikita, and Bobby Hull for the most by a Blackhawks teenager.
– He became the second teenager in Blackhawks history to accumulate 10 points in a season within 13 games or fewer on multiple occasions, matching what he did in 12 games in the 2023-24 season, and joining Patrick Kane (9 games in 2007-08 and 10 games in 2008-09).
– With his 11th career multi-assist game, he matched Bobby Hull for the second most by a teenager in Blackhawks history, trailing only Kane’s 13.
– He recorded his 16th career multi-point game, surpassing Jeremy Roenick and Bobby Hull (15 each) to claim the third spot among Blackhawks teenagers, behind Olczyk (29) and Kane (24).
– Bedard also achieved his sixth career three-point game, moving ahead of Jonathan Toews and Roenick (with 5 each) for the second most by a Blackhawks teenager, again behind Kane (10).
And coincidentally, Patrick Kane will be in Chicago for Bedard’s next game.
