Kiffin expressed his deep appreciation for the community, stating, “People said, ‘Oh, you got here and helped Ole Miss football,’ but I needed Oxford a lot more than it needed me.”
Kiffin’s stint at Ole Miss has been his longest tenure as a head coach, which explains the recurring speculation about him seeking other opportunities, particularly given the team’s success under his leadership. Following the death of his father, Monte Kiffin, over the summer, the family has grown closer.
