One of the leading college football recruits in the nation has changed his commitment from one SEC rival to another.
Caleb Cunningham, a five-star wide receiver from Ackerman, Mississippi, announced on Wednesday that he is now committed to Ole Miss after previously pledging to Alabama. He shared the news on social media with the message, “Home is Home!”
Ranked as the No. 2 wide receiver and the No. 16 overall prospect for 2025 by 247Sports, Cunningham initially chose Alabama in July, expressing strong reasons for his decision at that time.
Both Alabama and Ole Miss are having comparable seasons and remain in the hunt for the College Football Playoff. Each team started the year in the top 10 nationally and rebounded from two losses in recent weeks.
Ole Miss recently celebrated one of its most significant victories, defeating No. 3 Georgia last week.
