The Georgia Bulldogs continue to excel in the 2025 recruiting class, and they’ve just added another player to their roster. Chase Linton, a defensive lineman from the 2025 class, has committed to Georgia after previously decommitting from Rutgers. Linton had been a Rutgers commit since early June but withdrew his commitment in mid-August.
Linton is a four-star recruit, ranked as the 191st-best player nationally, the 18th-best edge rusher, and the 29th-best player in Georgia. The Bulldogs extended an offer to him in late July, and they maintained momentum leading up to his commitment to their program. Linton is not the only defensive line prospect this cycle who has changed his pledge; Isaiah Gibson, also from Georgia, had previously committed to USC before later choosing the Bulldogs.
