The Colorado Avalanche traded for Scott Wedgewood from the Nashville Predators on Saturday, sending goaltender Justus Annunen and a sixth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft in return.
Wedgewood, 32, has a record of 1-2-1, with a 3.69 goals-against average and an .878 save percentage across five games this season, four of which were starts. He is currently in the first year of a two-year, $3 million contract. Over his career, Wedgewood has a record of 49-50-23, with a 3.01 GAA and .905 save percentage in 135 games (118 starts) while playing for the New Jersey Devils, Arizona Coyotes, Dallas Stars, and Predators.
Annunen, 24, has a record of 6-4-0 this season, with a 3.23 goals-against average and an .872 save percentage in 11 games (nine starts). In his career with the Avalanche, he has a record of 16-9-2, a 2.81 GAA, and a .902 save percentage in 29 games (24 starts).
