The Big Ten is represented in the final Top 25 men’s college basketball polls for 2024, yet Wisconsin does not make the cut. Despite most top teams maintaining their spots in the recent AP and Coaches Poll Top 25 releases, Wisconsin’s presence diminished, receiving only seven votes in the AP Poll and none in the Coaches Poll.
Tennessee, Auburn, Iowa State, Duke, and Florida continue to hold the Top 5 positions in both polls, with only Tennessee and Auburn receiving first-place votes again this week.
Oregon stands as the highest-ranked Big Ten team, landing at No. 9 in both polls. UCLA, Michigan State, Purdue, and Illinois are also included in each ranking, while Maryland has re-entered the Coaches Poll Top 25, moving up two spots.
Wisconsin will compete again on Friday night against Iowa at 6 p.m. Central time, broadcast live on FS1.
