He will reunite with cornerbacks coach Chevis Jackson and defensive coordinator Lance Guidry at Miami for the upcoming season. Hill chose Miami over programs like Missouri, Indiana, and Cincinnati, having taken official visits to those schools.
During his time at Miami, he started five games and registered 27 tackles, one tackle for a loss, and one pass breakup. He entered the transfer portal on April 15, 2024, after playing in 10 games in 2022. Hill is known for his physical style of play, showcasing his coverage skills with 10 pass breakups over 671 snaps in the Sun Belt last season.
