The Texas Longhorns aim to capitalize on their top-ranked 2025 recruiting class and have made a promising start in the 2026 cycle. Reports from On3 recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong indicate that the Longhorns will host Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX) offensive tackle Felix Ojo, who is ranked in the top 10, for an official visit on June 13. After visiting the 40 Acres for junior day, Ojo has expressed considerable enthusiasm about the Longhorns’ plans for his future.
“The atmosphere in Austin was fantastic, and I felt very welcomed,” Ojo told Wiltfong. “What excites me about Texas is Coach Flood’s vision for how I can fit into their offense and the possibility of competing for a starting position early on. Texas measures up well against the other schools I’m considering, and they’re definitely among my top choices.”
Ojo, who stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 274 pounds, is currently ranked 29th in the nation, 6th among offensive tackles, and 4th in Texas according to 247Sports. He is also recognized as a top 10 offensive tackle by Rivals.com and the On3 Industry Ranking. On3 predicts that there is a strong likelihood of Ojo committing to the Longhorns, giving them a 90 percent chance of landing him.
In addition to Texas, schools like SMU, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Ohio State are also in the mix for Ojo.
