Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin football team are focusing on four-star wide receiver recruit Brock Boyd, who has already pledged to join the TCU Horned Frogs. Boyd, part of the 2026 recruiting class and from Southlake, Texas, continues to attract interest from various schools despite his commitment to TCU.
As reported by 247 Sports, Boyd has received a total of 27 offers, including one from the Badgers. Fickell even traveled to Texas to personally offer Boyd, as noted by Evan Flood from 247 Sports. Flood shared, “@CoachFick went down to Texas and personally offered TCU wide receiver commit Brock Boyd” on the platform X (formerly Twitter).
Boyd expressed his appreciation for the visit, stating, “It means a lot… I think it speaks volumes.” In addition to Wisconsin, Boyd has also received offers from other programs, including Kentucky, Ohio State, Arizona, Boston College, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Illinois, and Arkansas State.
In his junior year in 2024, Boyd recorded an impressive 1,875 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns from 111 receptions, and he also added 42 rushing yards and a touchdown on five carries, contributing to Southlake Carroll’s strong 15-1 season. His standout junior performance followed a sophomore year where he had 797 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
Currently, Wisconsin has secured one commitment for the 2026 class, which is three-star offensive lineman Benjamin Novak.
