Former national championship coach Urban Meyer expresses skepticism about Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning’s potential rise as a college football star. “Arch Manning is ranked number one at +700 in betting odds,” Meyer remarked, according to Athlon Sports. “Whether Arch Manning will fully prove himself is still uncertain. I mentioned this, and some Texas fans were a bit irked, claiming he’s the next big thing. He certainly has talent, but he’s only thrown 90 passes, achieving nine touchdowns and two interceptions.”
In essence, Manning has yet to persuade Meyer.
That task shouldn’t be overly difficult in the 2025 college football season.
