In 2024, the Buffalo Bills will see a 10% increase in the average cost of a season ticket. This comes after the team broke their franchise record for season ticket sales with 63,767 tickets sold for the 2023 season. The Bills’ vice president of ticket sales and service, Chris Colleary, attributes the high demand to the team’s dedicated fanbase. The increase in cost is due to an added game in 2024, with the Bills hosting a total of 10 games at Highmark Stadium – two in the preseason and eight in the regular season – compared to the nine games hosted in 2023.
Auburn has taken the first step to join a program in New York aimed at addressing the housing crisis. In other news, the Legends of Auburn bid farewell. The next phase of the Bills stadium project is set to begin with the installation of structural steel.
While the per-game price for Bills season tickets remains the same, the overall package price has increased due to the addition of an extra game. General admission packages for the 10-game season range from $611 to $2,056, with an average price of $1,146. Club packages range from $2,150 to $5,307, with an average price of $3,180. The Bills expect their season ticket base to reach 64,000 by 2024, which is their self-imposed limit. Last year, they had a 97% renewal rate for season tickets and a waiting list that has significantly increased from 6,000 people. While the cost of season tickets continues to rise, they remain the most affordable way to see a game, with single-game tickets costing 77% more on average and secondary market tickets costing 88% more than season tickets. According to Colleary, the Bills’ single-game pricing is higher due to demand and the limited availability of single-game tickets.
The Buffalo Bills’ new stadium has yet to offer fans a virtual reality view, leaving them eagerly waiting. The stadium, located in the Walker Center in Williamsville, will open in March and will only serve customers by appointment. Club seat members will be the first to receive invitations to take an interactive look at the stadium and select their seats. The remaining accounts will be invited based on their current season location and seniority, but the process for all 15,000 season ticket holders could take more than a year. The Bills advise fans to be patient and assure them that they will have comparable or better seat options. The 2024 home schedule includes games against the San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, and Arizona Cardinals. The two home preseason opponents are yet to be announced.
