The Carolina Panthers are eager to forget about the 2023 NFL Season, where they finished as the worst team in the league. This was particularly tough for rookie quarterback Bryce Young, who was selected as the No. 1 pick in last year’s draft. Despite being a highly touted prospect, Young was unable to lead the team to more victories. However, many fans and analysts believe that the organization was to blame for not providing Young with enough support to succeed. One of the team’s biggest weaknesses was their receiving room, which was not up to par for Young’s first year. Recently, Sam Monson, the lead analyst at PFF, suggested that Mike Evans could be a good fit for the Panthers’ offense alongside Young. Although Evans is currently a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he is a free agent in the 2024 season and there have been rumors that he may want to leave the team. If this is the case, the Panthers could be an interesting destination for him, where he could use his veteran experience to help Young start his NFL career on the right foot. It remains to be seen where Evans will end up, especially since he has played for the Buccaneers his entire career.
