All 32 NFL teams are now in the offseason, and the age-old tradition of determining the greatest player of all time has begun. Peter King, a prominent NFL insider, recently released his all-time NFL roster, ranking teams, coaches, and players. Despite not having a Super Bowl title, the Buffalo Bills have had some of the game’s greats wear their uniform, with four former and current Bills making King’s all-time roster. Bruce Smith, a Hall of Fame defensive end, was the headliner, with his ability to make defenses superior due to his relentless attacks on offensive tackles. Smith played for the Bills from 1985 to 1999 and holds the all-time sack record with 200. Another Bill to make the cut was Von Miller, a current edge rusher, who was selected due to his accolades with the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams.
Miller has just finished his second season of a six-year contract with the Bills. He performed well in his debut season, but he was not the same player after returning from a torn ACL, failing to record a single sack in 2023.
The Bills are represented by Steve Tasker, a special teams player, and Chris Hogan, a receiver who is currently on the bench. Tasker is widely regarded as one of the best special teams players of all time, having been named All-Pro five times, but he has yet to receive a gold jacket. Meanwhile, Hogan spent the first three years of his career with the Bills, but he is best known for his later time with the New England Patriots.
