The New England Patriots will have seven selections overall in the 2024 NFL Draft to work with, whether they decide to use them on trades or to add players before the season begins. It would be great to eye quarterbacks in any case.
Regarding New England’s starting quarterback in Week 1 of the next season, Mac Jones is by no means a lock. The Patriots may be able to stretch their search even with the presence of top talents such as Caleb Williams (USC), Drake Maye (UNC), and Jayden Daniels (LSU). Living proof that hidden gems can be uncovered is San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, who played for the NFC in Super Bowl LVIII after being selected last in the 2022 selection.
The NFL Scouting Combine concluded on Sunday, giving scouts from all around the league access.
Joe Milton III, State of Tennessee
Joe Milton III wanted to make the little-knowns more well-known and increase the value of their shares, and the combine makes that possible.
Milton made an incredible impact at the combine despite only playing one complete season at quarterback during his six seasons with the Tennessee Volunteers. In front of scouts, Milton recorded a combine-high 62 MPH pass and even demonstrated his accuracy by hitting passes of 70 yards.
