CHARLOTTE– Jonathan Stewart and Luke Kuechly have experienced a successful team from within and know what it takes to build a winning culture. They are encouraged by the positive changes they have seen from new head coach Dave Canales. Stewart is excited about the environment that Canales is creating, emphasizing the importance of a good environment for learning and growth. Kuechly believes that the offensive scheme’s success will depend on the support around quarterback Bryce Young, particularly the interior offensive linemen. Both players highlight the significance of strong guard and center play, drawing parallels to the model used by the New Orleans Saints with Drew Brees. Canales also stressed the importance of solid interior line play, citing the Saints’ approach. Kuechly is confident that Young will improve as he gains more experience and the game slows down for him.

At Wednesday night’s FanDuel event, moderator Kay Adams often let the duo take the lead, allowing them to reminisce. Here are a couple of the best stories shared by Kuechly and Stewart during the evening: On Thanksgiving Day in 2015, during a game between the Panthers and the Cowboys, Kuechly and Stewart discussed a play where they anticipated Tony Romo’s moves and managed to counter them. Then, they recalled a Monday Night Football game in 2008 against the Bucs, where Stewart realized he was going to be alright as he and DeAngelo Williams had a successful game, culminating in Stewart delivering a satisfying stiff arm to Ronde Barber.
