Dave Canales and the Panthers coaching staff now know when the club will face each opponent after the schedule was revealed on Wednesday night.
The Panthers want to get better after an absurdly poor 2023 year. It won’t be simple though. The Panthers’ difficult next four games could set the tone for the 2024 campaign as a whole. Without a doubt, Weeks 12 through 15 represent the Panthers’ most difficult four-game period.
After visiting Munich, Germany, in Week 11, Carolina had a bye week. It arrives at the ideal moment. Week 12 will see the Panthers play the Kansas City Chiefs, the defending Super Bowl champions, after their bye week.
And the story doesn’t end there. In Week 13, the Panthers will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, an NFC South opponent, following their game against the Chiefs. The fact that these two games are at home helps Carolina. Nevertheless, Tampa Bay qualified for the playoffs in 2023.
The Panthers’ gruelling four-game stretch run will be topped off in Week 14 when they travel to Philadelphia to play the Philadelphia Eagles.
Despite their disintegration at the end of the 2023 season, the Eagles still have talented quarterback Jalen Hurts, who can cause problems for any opposition defence.
Carolina plays the Dallas Cowboys at home in Week 15 to cap up a month of football.Every time the Cowboys come to town, it makes the Panthers feel like a road team. That is sure to happen again, negating the positive of having three out of four difficult games at home for Bryce Young and company.
