As of now, the Carolina Panthers are the only team without a prime-time match scheduled for the 2017 NFL season. They do, however, have one international match, scheduled for Munich, Germany in Week 10, against the New York Giants. As the season came to an end, teams like the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons, and Arizona Cardinals were left without a prime-time matchup. But the Panthers don’t have any games planned for this season.
The Panthers finished the previous season with a 2-15 record, which was the worst in the league. The team failed to achieve success with No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Bryce Young. Frank Reich, the head coach, was fired after 11 games since the season was still going on.
The former offensive coordinator of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dave Canales, has been appointed the new head coach and the Panthers will move ahead in the season under his tutelage.
