There were many skilled wide receivers available going into the 2024 NFL Draft; in fact, this class may be the deepest at the position in league history, led by Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze.
The Buffalo Bills had a significant hole at wide receiver after they unexpectedly traded superstar wide out Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans. This was especially true after Gabe Davis was allowed to leave during NFL free agency and eventually signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Bills selected Florida State wide receiver Keon Coleman in the second round of the draft, and he will get an opportunity to establish himself as a starter at the beginning of the 2024 NFL season.
At wide receiver in this draft class, Coleman is among the best rookies. During a photo session, the 21-year-old demonstrated his skills by throwing the football, which was, to put it mildly, spectacular. via Dov Kleiman.
However, the Bills brought in Coleman to help replace Diggs, which will be some pretty big shoes to fill in Buffalo.
Only time will tell if the Bills got the right wideout to help fill the void in Buffalo, as he’ll likely have quite a few balls thrown his way during the upcoming 2024 NFL season.
